What is the cost of the tree?

The cost of the tree and 5" x 8" engraved plaque is $500.

Can I order more than one tree?

Absolutely!  However, we are limited to planting 5 trees.  

Is the donation tax deductible?

Yes, Trinity Cemetery Corporation is a tax-exempt corporation, registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(13) organization. Donations to the Trinity Cemetery Corporation are tax deductible, as allowed by law

How can I donate?

Donations can be made through any of the following options:

1. Check - via mail:

Make check payable to Trinity Cemetery, Inc.

Mail check along with the order form to Trinity Cemetery, Inc., PO Box 382, Pocomoke City, MD 21851-0382

2. Debit Card/Credit Card or ACH from Bank Account (via secure online donation):

Make donation via this website.  Select the "Donations" link from the menu in the upper, right-hand corner of the website.

When completing the donation information, select the "Tree Campaign" option on the website.

Contact us to receive the campaign order form.

Where will the trees be planted?

The first set of trees will be planted in the front of the cemetery, parallel to Unionville Rd.

Can I select the type, variety or color of the tree?

The type of tree will be selected by the Trinity Cemetery Corporation Board of Directors to add visual appeal, maintain consistency throughout the site and to best align the tree’s planting needs (e.g. sunlight/shade, heat tolerance, disease resistance, drought tolerance, etc.) with the existing conditions of the site.

Can I specify the text to be engraved on the plaque?

Yes, if desired, each donor can provide the text to be engraved on the plaque. The plaques can accommodate 1 - 4 lines of text however, the number of characters should be limited to ensure it fits on the 5”x”8” plaque. We do have some default options to make the selection process easier.

3. In honor of <insert name(s) here>. 

4. Donated by <insert name(s) here>. 

5. Planted with love by <insert name(s) here>. 

The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any text that is deemed inappropriate

Can I specify where the tree is planted?

To achieve the greatest visual appeal, trees will be planted according to a predefined landscaping plan. They will also be planted in the order in which requests are received.

Can I plant a tree in memory of a person that isn’t buried at Trinity?

Yes, there’s no restriction on who can be honored.
